ABOUT
Jonny is a loving husband, dedicated father, church leader serving as the Pastor to Light and Life and businessman. Jonny is a former elected councillor, serving as Mayor of Garstang and is also a doctoral student. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Hannah, for 11 years, and together they have a four year old daughter and a one year old son. Jonny was born and raised in Cornwall and now lives in Lancashire. Amongst many other things, Jonny is passionate about his family, faith, sport and helping others to find freedom in both their spiritual and lives and their finances.
EDUCATION
With a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University and a Master’s degree in Theology and lLeadership from the Church of England’s St. Mellitus College, Jonny is dedicated to studying and learning. With a background in finance working at one of the Big Four accounting firms and a call to pastoring, Jonny is now currently studying for his Doctorate in Ministry from North Eastern Seminary in Rochester, NY. He is passionate about helping others find financial freedom through Biblical principles. MINISTRY
Jonny is the Lead Pastor of Light and Life: a church that is part of the Free Methodist movement. Planted in 2017 by a team of dedicated believers, Light and Life is a church that is set free, living free, and bringing freedom to its surrounding community through the hope of Jesus. Jonny cares for his community and seeks to better and serve them well. He is a formally elected councillor having served as the Mayor of Garstang Town Council and a Borough Councillor for Wyre Council, As Mayor, Jonny was particularly passionate about helping churches, councils and community groups, as well as supporting local businesses. Following in his father’s entrepreneurial footsteps, Jonny is the owner of Garstang Fish and Chips. Established in 2013, Garstang Fish and Chips has been happily serving its community for 10 years. Originally a rundown site, Jonny refurbished and built the now restaurant into an established eatery. Since opening, Jonny was named among the best Young Fish Fryers in England, and the shop was named among the Top Fifty Fish and Chip Restaurants in the UK. CONTACT JONNY
